Nimrod is a much-loved and pampered 1160 which is offered for sale to a discerning future owner.
She was launched in October 2008, by owners who ticked nearly every box on the option list; Flexiteek cockpit floor, Cruisair 19,000BTU air-conditioning, dual ZF MicroCommander electronic throttles, Fischer-Panda genset, dual electric Harken 46 winches, Lemair washing machine, 3-blade folding Gori propellers, etc, etc.
Dave Straton and Georgina Gibson bought her nine months later, in August 2009, and have loved her since. She has been sailed 3-4 months a year since then, with comprehensive maintenance every year, mostly at the Gold Coast City Marina, or Boatworks.
Latterly we have favoured 'replace with new' over 'let's bodgy it up'.

Racing highlight
Although Nimrod has many extras, she performs well in competition. At the Whitsunday Seawind regatta in 2015 in a fleet of seven Seawinds over five races, Nimrod won line honours four times, with one second.
